Owner / Guide

Mario

With nearly two decades of experience fishing in the Marten River and surrounding area, Mario’s roots run deep in these woods and waters. A proud member of the Michipicoten First Nation, he has built a life closely tied to the land and the traditions that come with it. A fishing addiction that started at a young age has given him the opportunity to fish all over Ontario, learning a variety of tips and tricks along the way. He enjoys open water season but he's a true ice fisherman at heart

Mario would like to thank his beautiful wife for proudly putting up with the crazy fishing lifestyle that allows him to proudly own Tomahawk Outfitters.

Jake

Jake grew up hunting and fishing throughout both Southern and Northern Ontario, spending most of his life immersed in the outdoors. His passion for nature started at a young age, making it an easy decision to join the Tomahawk Outfitters team when the opportunity arose.

Some of Jake’s favourite species to target include walleye, speckled trout, and northern pike. When he’s not on the water, Jake is equally passionate about hunting, particularly waterfowl, wild turkeys, and predators.

He takes great pride in creating memorable experiences for every customer, ensuring each adventure is as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.
